Welcome Korea is an independent information service that helps foreign residents prepare to open a Korean bank account. We provide a diagnosis, checklists, bilingual counter scripts and branch guidance compiled from public sources.

We are not a bank, a government body, an immigration agent or a law firm, and we are not affiliated with any bank. We do not open accounts on your behalf. Whether an account is opened is at the sole discretion of the bank branch.

The information is provided in good faith and verified against public sources as of the date shown, but rules, fees and branch practices change. We do not guarantee that following the Kit will result in an account being opened, or that any specific figure remains current. Verify critical details with the bank before you rely on them.

The Bank Visit Kit is a personalized digital product (a PDF plus emailed content) delivered immediately after payment. Payment is processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for this purchase; your contract of sale for the Kit is with Paddle.

The Kit is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute or publish it.

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or scrape it.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
